Gearing up for the Holidays!

We may not have our tree up yet, but we are all ready in the sugar department!

We had so much snow last night,

but today the freezing rain won't let us play.

So to keep our fingers and our toes warm,

inside is where we had to stay!

This was a wonderful togetherness day,

to make a gingerbread house was oh so fun!

But isn't it time for bed yet???

Having three sugar-buzzed kids... I'm just about done!

Brandon's Baptism

I'm a bit late posting this, but if it weren't for Aunt La-La there wouldn't even be any pictures!

Here is Aunt C.C. who, with alongside La-La, were a huge help in getting the refreshments and table decor looking very nice! THANK YOU!!!

Here is my happy newly-baptized 8 year old! He had the best day surrounded by those who love him. We have been so blessed with such a wonderful family!

And although he was smiling from ear to ear all day, I on the otherhand was bawling my eyes out once we got to the church and I was able to stop and think about the choice Brandon had made. I was so proud of him and at the same time reflecting on how we got to this point.
I was so sad he doesn't have a father who could perform the ordinances. However, as I looked around and saw all the worthy priesthood holders he has in his life I was able to look at the fact that it's true, his dad doesn't live with us and no, he can't baptize and confirm any of his children, but that's the way it is. And all I can do is surround Brandon by fabulous examples and am grateful beyond words that in deed, he surely is.

Happy White Thanksgiving...

Josh was so impressed that the 5th grade "weatherboy" who announces the weather at his school, was right on the money when they awoke to a snow-covered Thanksgiving morning!

I guess I better get off the dating websites and make a page for my family! ;)
