Josh's 7th Birthday

Michael took us the Toledo Mud Hens Baseball Game:

It was Family Fun Day and the kids got to meet Cartoon Network's Ben 10 and even got a free balloon animal of their choice. The boys chose Ben 10 watches, Gayle chose a heart-shaped sword, and Ashley wanted a pink puppy:

We had great seats. The kids were great. The Mud Hens were great. Everything was great!


Following the game we went home for the real celebration including a batman cake and presents...

Florida Fun!

Walking on Jacksonville Beach

We had so much fun at the Dog Track! I didn't even lose that much money :)

Cuddling on the couch....aaawwwwww! No kids jumping or whining or crying for

anything! It was a wonderful 30th birthday. Thankfully I have wonderful

family who watched my kids so I could go. And thankfully I have a

wonderful boyfriend who treated me like the queen I always knew I was! lol

The first night while preparing dinner he surprised with having arranged for me and his bestfriend's wife to get a professional massage! It was definitely the best I have ever had! Once we had returned to our men it was pretty dark and much later than he had anticipated. But Michael convinced me to still take that walk on the beach we were planning (the one request I had was to walk barefoot in the sand and touch the ocean). So in my euphoric state I glided hand-in-hand with this wonderful man. When all of a sudden he announces he has another surprise! I was in total shock when I noticed he had been carrying a duffle bag this entire time! Inside were a blanket, chocolate covered strawberries, sparkling cider, and glasses. OHMIGOSH!!! He swept me off my feet! This was just the first of 4 wonderful days!

We were on our way to a work "party". This was the first time I met some of his work friends. I don't think he liked me taking his pic. But don't I look cute?! I guess I look kind of mad too lol. but we were really having a good time! And see all that nasty snow in the background?! Barf!

Easter Egg Hunt

This was the first of our three Easter Egg Hunts!

Obviously we took more pics of ourselves than the children! We had all four kids and celebrated Easter with Brandon's school. I thought it was a bit over-organized, but of course it went so smoothly. Despite the freezing weather and several frozen puddles, we all had a great time!

Michael and I decided to have the kids meet eachother at the Ann Arbor Hand on Museum. We had a great time and the kids really seemed to hit it off!

Mitt for Michigan

Back in February I got to go to the results party for the Michigan primary. We were so close to Mitt when he announced that he won the Republican vote for our state. It was so exciting!
Unfortunately though we all know how this story ends...
